At last my hair is growing!!

Follow my blog with Bloglovin

It's been almost 10 months ago since I decided to chop all my hair off a la Frankie Sandford (you can see it here, if you haven't already seen it) and almost immediately after having it all cut off I regretted it. I did try and persevere with it to see if it would grow on me after all super-short hair isn't something you can get used to straight away when you've always had long hair!

The last time I had it cut was Christmas eve ... naughty, I know! ... and after that I decided I was definitely going to grow it out. Growing it out has been a bit of a nightmare because my hair was different lengths but I have been trimming the one side myself so that it's more or less even. I know I should probably go to a hair dressers rather than do it myself but I'm scared that they'll take too much off. It's already taking ages to grow out! I have to say though, considering I haven't had it cut in as long it is in surprisingly good condition. It feels soft, looks shiny and has very few split ends, so something good has come out chopping it all off :)

This is how long my hair currently is - cue pouting, posing pic!

I'm giving it another 6 weeks it will be past my shoulders then I'm definitely going to go for a (little) trim. All in all I have to say that while it I regretted it it hasn't been the worst haircut I've ever had and I probably still haven't learned my lesson, but for now, bring on the long hair!!!

What's your gymspiration?

This is mine. The pic was taken with my iPhone from an H&M summer catalogue (hence the poor quality!). I think her body is amazing and probably more realistic for me to be able to achieve, although it will take a lot of hard work to get there. Unfortunately no amount of time in the gym will give me her face, hair or tan though!

NOTD: Nails Inc - Jermyn Street

I've had this nails polish for ages and I've never used it until now. I got this as part of the Nails inc 'Greige Collection'. I know that nails inc gave this polish away free in Glamour and as part of the Diet Coke promotion but I missed both!

In the bottle I thought Jermyn Street looked much like Essie's 'Mink muff' so always chose that. Yesterday however, I decided to give this a go and I'm glad that I did. I much prefer Jermyn Street to Mink Muff and it doesn't look anything like mink muff when applied. It's a gorgeous taupe/mud colour with a slight lilac undertone. I love it and can't believe it took me so long to discover it! It makes me wonder what other nail polishes I have that I've overlooked.
